My eSIM won't activate
Follow these steps to resolve activation issues:
- Ensure your device is connected to Wi-Fi
- Check if your device is eSIM compatible
- Verify that you have the latest iOS/Android version
- Try restarting your device
- Make sure you haven't reached your device's eSIM limit
If the issue persists, contact our support team with your order number.
No cellular network available
If you can't connect to the cellular network:
- Go to Settings > Cellular/Mobile Data
- Ensure that Cellular/Mobile Data is turned on
- Try toggling Airplane Mode on and off
- Check if Data Roaming is enabled
- Try manual network selection
Still having issues? Try resetting your network settings.
Slow data speeds
To improve your data speeds:
- Check if you're in a 4G/5G coverage area
- Verify that you haven't exceeded your high-speed data quota
- Try resetting your network settings
- Test different network providers if available in your area
- Ensure your APN settings are correct
eSIM profile download failed
If your eSIM profile fails to download:
- Ensure you have a stable Wi-Fi connection
- Clear your device's cache
- Restart your device and try again
- Check if your QR code is still valid
- Make sure you're scanning the QR code in a well-lit environment
Contact support if you need a new QR code.
Can't make or receive calls
If you're having issues with calls:
- Verify that your eSIM is properly activated
- Check if you have cellular signal
- Ensure your plan includes voice services
- Try toggling Airplane Mode
- Check if call forwarding is disabled
For emergency calls, your device will use any available network, regardless of your eSIM status.
How do I install my eSIM?
Installation steps vary by device:
For iPhone:
- Go to Settings > Cellular/Mobile Data
- Tap "Add Cellular/Mobile Plan"
- Scan the QR code we provided
- Follow the on-screen instructions
For Android:
- Go to Settings > Network & Internet
- Tap "Add carrier" or "+"
- Scan the QR code
- Complete the setup process
How do I check my data usage?
You can check your data usage in your device settings under Cellular/Mobile Data, or log into your eSIMHop account to view detailed usage statistics.
Can I top up my data plan?
Yes! You can purchase additional data through your eSIMHop account. Simply log in, select your active plan, and choose a top-up package.
